Meet Bart Rowland

Bart Rowland first ran for State Representative for the 21^st District in 2012 in order to shake up “business as usual” politics and to implement conservative solutions for the community.

Bart Rowland is Vice President and Co-Owner of Rowland Insurance Agency Inc., where he has worked for 20+ years. His company specializes in workers compensation, business insurance, and business loan protection. Due to his significant experience in the field, Bart is Chair of the House Banking & Insurance Committee in Kentucky.  He is also an active member of NCOIL (National Council of Insurance Legislators) where he currently serves as the Chair of the Property & Casualty Committee.

An established insurance agent, Bart is a member of BIG I Kentucky and Professional Insurance Agents of Kentucky – groups that advocate for Kentucky’s independent agents. Bart graduated from Monroe County High School and attended Western Kentucky University.

Bart Rowland is the only candidate endorsed by the NRA, with the highest A+ rating for his pro-second amendment and pro-sportsman policies. Bart has also been endorsed by Kentucky Right to Life as well as the National Federation of Independent Business. He was presented with a Friends of Cities Award in 2019 and 2020 for his work to make our local cities safer places to live.

Bart and his wife, Jerri, live in Tompkinsville with their three children, Thomas Stone, Jay Cooper and Cariana Jewell. They attend Mt Gilead Church of Christ.
